That’s a good question. And the short answer is: it’s entirely up to you. 

How frequently you journal should always come down to what’s manageable for you. We recommend experimenting with different times of the day as this will help you to get into a routine and understand when you get the most benefit from getting your thoughts and feelings onto paper. Really, the most important thing is to be consistent; the more often you journal, the easier it will be to turn it into a habit that you’ll stick to.
